"On the Road with Nick"
Nick and I drove along the Bell's Line of Road up over Mount Tomah to Mount Victoria where were headed to the Victoria and Albert Guesthouse for the night. The plan was to pick up Tom from his walk (see below post) the following afternoon. On Saturday afternoon we walked around the village looking at the old wares shops and having afternoon tea at Deli n' More. There are lots of things to do in Mount Victoria besides shopping, historical buildings and explorers land marks. There is even a local cinema that shows recent flicks at 6pm on the Sat evening. While the rail line goes through two axis in the town the overnight noise was minimal. The Victoria and Albert Guesthouse proved to be a treasure trove of Federation architecture from 1914. Looking through the guestbook a recent guest was Liam 'Doc' Neeson
On Sunday we headed off to the tourist mecca of Katoomba to visit Scenic World. (see above post). Accommodation rating 2 and a half stars out of 5, good value.
