Tom and I headed off to the Hawkesbury to see artists studios in Sackville just over the Sackville Ferry on the river bend. We were welcomed by Judy Brownlie at her studio next to the mudbrick home she had built with her husband Neil twenty years ago. Her paintings were filled with light and colour and were created from her travels and sketch books. She has been a painter for forty years and is well established with two shows a year.
