Mnemosyne by Rosemary Madigan 1976

The personification of memory - Greek. Poets receive their powers of authoratative speech from their possession of Mnemosyne and their special relationship with the Muses. Mnemosyne is the mother of the nine Muses. There is also a river in Greece named Mnemosyne.

In the bust alcove at the entrance lit from the atrium.

Nick's Auskick Team

The Auskick season is over and here is Nick's team. As the only member of our family to learn and play AFL Nick is able to start an entirely new tradition for Hayward men. Nick is third from the left standing up. Kingsley was their coach. Nick will return to AFL Auskick next Winter.

Clay and Flax

Yesterday while waiting and walking I discovered a new store on The Pacific Highway called "Clay and Flax". It only sells blue and white pottery from Germany and linen garments for household members. It's almost Roman in its purity. It wasn't open yet but I took these photos through the window.
(I will return to post the photos)
