End of the Trail

This photo is of the famous sculpture about the Cherokee Indian Nation, called End of the Trail. It was taken by one of my American blogging friends, Emery Jo. We are studying the Sioux Ogalal Lakota as part of Aboriginal Studies at school. Looking at this sculpture with Emery's son in front of it is inspiring and humbling at the same time

Term 2 2011

Sam has been teaching at my school, from Brighton, UK. He has given us his commuter bike which surprisingly was made in the UK and has a British Made sticker.
Alex taught himself to ride a bike with his friend Jasper's bike, I had tried to teach him for years but one day he just taught himself.

The NSW Parliament Hansard Room where I spent a professional development day for HSC Legal Studies. We also attended two sittings of the parliament viewing members on their mobile phones and texting during speeches. It's good to know it's not just the students in my classes doing this.

Well that catches you up on what's been happening this term. Now it is the Winter school holidays. We plan some fun activities in Sydney out and about. The weather is a bit of everything but that's okay. More postings will follow. Bye for now.
