Joyce Batterham (ne Dean)Castlecrag Elder, community activist, now with her own commemorative traffic island, planted with natives and the beautiful towering flowering gum trees. Opened 2nd May 2010.
Today we attended the unveiling of the black but seat with its commemorative plate by Lindy Batterham. It was a sunny 25 degrees C. We planted 25 new native plants around the seat.
